My fingerprint sensor suddenly stopped working, it also does not appear in the Settings. My banking and work applications depend on fingerprint unlocking.
How do I go about diagnosing this? I don't know if the fingerprint sensor itself is damaged, if an update disabled it or if it just a missing configuration in the phone settings. Factory resetting would be a problem due to banking and work applications.
